Selenity had returned to the caern as promised that morning after picking up coffee. She'd even stopped on the way back and brought home groceries. Things that wouldn't spoil easily. The kitchen was fully stocked, all of the cabins were cleaned, and gnosis was given to the land.
The only thing out of place was Selenity's cell phone. Her cell phone laid on the Alpha's bed, right in the center of it. The only number in it, his own. The only text messages, the exchange they'd had this morning. The phone itself was completely deactivated. No service went to it. Sel's dresser in what she'd dubbed the Kin Cabin was completely empty. If one dusted for prints there were no trace of her. No strands of hair, no forgotten brush. Even the phone itself was scrubbed clean as well it seemed.
There was a message though. The phone when a button of press, the screen would open and an unsent text would be seen in her and zach's message history.
Unsent Text: That pet demon... I believe she wishes to kill me. Knowing what I know about her I think it's best I stay away for awhile. Find somewhere safe, somewhere for the Silver Fangs you constantly talk about disliking. My period came today. I'm not pregnant. I wanted you to claim me but perhaps it's for the best that you haven't. As always, your secrets are safe with me and I will in time make my location known to help the sept when needed. I've set up an account at the bank and funds will be provided to it and named yourself, Emilia, and Isabella as authorized users on that account. I trust the three of you will use the monies wisely for sept purposes. ((end text))
